A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a key liaison across multiple healthcare facilities in Southern Illinois. This direct hire role requires a local candidate, ideally located around Springfield, IL, to effectively travel within this geographic territory and support pharmacy operations in the field. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with facility leadership and staff to ensure quality medication therapy and compliance. Acting as the primary contact for assigned accounts, this role involves addressing client inquiries, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to optimize pharmacy services. The technician will also perform onsite visits, assist with survey preparation, conduct medication room inspections, and collaborate closely with internal pharmacy teams to deliver seamless care. The position requires flexibility to accommodate occasional audits that may occur later in the day, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reliable transportation is essential due to travel demands, and overnight stays may be necessary. Desired Qualifications: Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (required) Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification (highly preferred) Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred Familiarity with pharmacy and medication distribution software such as EMAR, Medbank, and Frameworks Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison work Location: Southern Illinois area, centralized around Springfield for travel to multiple facilities within approximately one hour's distance.
