A growing long-term care pharmacy is seeking four skilled licensed pharmacists to join their expanding team in a closed-door facility. This direct hire opportunity offers an essential role supporting patient care through careful medication management in a specialized environment. Responsible for evaluating medication orders, you will ensure appropriateness of drug selection, dosage, and safe administration. Your expertise will guide proper dispensing and labeling of medications, while maintaining clear communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to address medication-related inquiries. Additional duties include supervising medicine preparation, recommending therapeutic changes, resolving queries, and maintaining comprehensive customer medical and laboratory records. Shift Options: Three positions covering 2nd shift: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday plus every other weekend One position with a 7-on/7-off schedule: 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM, Monday through Sunday Additional shift flexibility includes: Four 10-hour shifts with varying evening and overnight hours (4 PM-2:30 AM, 6 PM-4:30 AM, or 8 PM-6:30 AM) and every other weekend, or Alternate weekly schedules with 7 consecutive shifts followed by 7 days off on similar evening/night shifts Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio Pharmacist license in hand Experience in long-term care or pharmacy operations preferred Proficiency with pharmacy frameworks and medication management systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills This is a direct hire role with immediate start available.
