An established closed-door long-term care pharmacy in the Chicago area is seeking a skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for an evening shift direct hire position. This role demands reliability and excellent attendance, supporting a high-volume sterile compounding operation. Location: Chicago, IL (Woodridge area) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Rotating every other weekend Key Responsibilities: Prepare intravenous (IV) medications following aseptic techniques to maintain product sterility Conduct quality assurance checks on compounded products Manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies Ensure all work complies with USP 797 standards and relevant regulations Maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment handling approximately 600 prescriptions daily Qualifications and Experience: Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license Proven sterile compounding experience, specifically in IV medication preparation Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume setting Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; training is available This opportunity offers a stable, direct hire position supporting critical sterile compounding services.
