A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide maternity leave coverage in Schaumburg, IL. This role requires onsite support in an elementary school serving students primarily in self-contained autism classrooms. Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals to eligible students. The therapist will collaborate closely with special education staff and classroom teams to enhance student access, develop functional skills, and encourage participation within the self-contained autism programs. This position involves working approximately 20 hours per week over three days, with flexibility to spread hours across four or five days to accommodate scheduling needs. The contract begins in mid-April, with possible early start dates, and concludes on May 28.
