Occupational Therapist School Setting in Hayward, CA

An Occupational Therapist is needed to support high school students at two school sites in Hayward, CA. This contract assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering a full-time, 40-hour workweek. The position focuses on delivering direct and group occupational therapy services to students, helping them achieve their educational and functional goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide approximately 1500 minutes of direct occupational therapy services and 240 minutes of group sessions monthly. Manage a caseload of around 30 high school students. Collaborate with educational teams to develop individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and maintain comprehensive documentation. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success planning. Qualifications and Experience: Current Occupational Therapy license in California. Experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably at the high school level. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver both individual and group interventions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to supporting student growth and educational participation. Location: Two high schools in Hayward, California. Additional Information: Contract duration is for the current school year. This position does not accept Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA). VOCO services are not part of this assignment.
