An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with a strong background in vascular and neurovascular imaging. This position involves working in a fast-paced short-term acute care hospital renowned for stroke thrombectomy and trauma care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scrubbing cases, familiar with wires, and experienced with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform 10-15 IR cases daily, including endografts, neurovascular procedures, and body IR interventions. Scrub in during invasive procedures and assist the radiologist as needed. Operate fluoroscopy equipment, ensuring safety and image quality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a stroke thrombectomy facility. Participate in on-call rotations, including one weekday and weekend coverage every third or fourth weekend. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience; first-time IR techs considered. Skilled in handling vascular IR cases, including trauma and neurovascular interventions. Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms. Ability to scrub cases and manage wires proficiently. Active state license required by start date; pending licenses may be accepted. Must reside at least 50 miles from the hospital; local candidates not eligible. Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with on-call hours from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on assigned days. Weekend on-call coverage every third or fourth weekend (Friday through Sunday). Holiday on-call as needed.
