Provide expert nursing care on a dynamic Medical Oncology/GYN Surgical unit specializing in complex patient needs. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support patients through varied medical and surgical treatments, including cancer and complicated gynecological surgeries. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to professionalism, teamwork, and delivering compassionate care on a 34-bed inpatient unit with a 2-chair outpatient infusion room. Responsibilities include managing a diverse patient population with skills in central line management, various drains, dressing changes, and care for Tenhoff and pleur-X catheters. Frequent transfusions of blood products and thorough documentation using CERNER electronic charting system are key components of this role.
