A rewarding opportunity is available for a California State Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support children in a school setting located in Modesto, CA. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through June 6, 2025, including both Extended School Year (ESY) and Non-School Year (NSY) sessions. The role offers a dynamic environment working primarily with preschool-aged children and some in 1:1 settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Deliver therapy sessions in small groups of 2-4 students, typically lasting 20-30 minutes. Work closely with preschoolers and young children, adapting therapy plans as needed. Document student progress and collaborate with the education team to support individualized education plans (IEPs). Desired Qualifications: Valid California State Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license. Experience in school-based speech-language services. Ability to engage young children effectively and compassionately. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Availability to work full-time with consistent hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
