A school speech-language pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position serving school-age students in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact communication development and educational success within an itinerant countywide program. The position begins as soon as onboarding is complete and extends tentatively through June 12, 2026. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to school-age children across Bucks County in various school settings Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and social needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards Participate in professional development and team meetings as required Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II certification to qualify for school-based practice Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory Experience working with school-age populations in educational settings Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Location: Itinerant position based out of 705 N Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA 18901, serving multiple school locations within Bucks County Benefits and Perks: Full-time contract with consistent 37.5 hours per week schedule Opportunity to influence student success within a supportive educational environment Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and certification This is an ideal opportunity for dedicated speech-language pathologists licensed in Pennsylvania seeking meaningful work with school-age children in Bucks County.
