Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) On-call rotation includes weekdays and weekends, with approximately every third weekend required Floating to a nearby sister facility for one week during the contract Responsibilities: Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as Fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred), PACS, and ultrasound devices Perform procedural duties including accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and management of vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Provide support as room circulator and scrub tech, ensuring sterile technique compliance and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias during interventions Maintain inventory and stock necessary supplies for smooth workflow in the Interventional Vascular Radiology Suite covering peripheral angiography, venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-interventions including acute stroke treatment and embolization Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology settings ARRT certification and active West Virginia state license are mandatory (pending acceptable prior to start) BLS certification required; Vascular Intervention certification preferred Willingness to comply with hospital policies, including flu vaccination protocols during season unless medically exempt Reliable on-call availability with a 30-minute response time Benefits and Perks: Competitive contract position with guaranteed 40 hours per week Free parking for travelers Orientation sessions are held every other Monday Opportunities to accommodate blocked scheduling requests within reason Contemporary electronic charting using Cerner system This role welcomes first-time travelers and candidates eager to engage in a collaborative, fast-paced environment within a respected teaching hospital.
