School Psychologist - Waukegan, IL

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide school psychology services within a K-12 educational setting located in Waukegan, IL. This role focuses on supporting students through comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families to promote academic and emotional success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student goals Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support strategies Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team discussions Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards Qualifications and Experience: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Illinois Experience working with K-12 students in school-based settings Strong skills in psychological evaluation, assessment tools, and data interpretation Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff Knowledge of special education laws and procedures Professional, adaptable, and proactive approach to addressing student needs Location: Waukegan, Illinois Duration: Full semester contract This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development while working within a collaborative school environment.
