Job Description

A contract position is available in Turlock, CA, for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support local schools. This role involves working across multiple sites depending on caseload demands, providing flexibility and variety throughout the contract period. This position requires approximately 6 hours of work per day, typically scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with slight variations by location. The contract term extends from ASAP through May 29, 2026, accommodating scheduled breaks including Winter Break from December 19, 2025, to January 12, 2026, and Spring Break from March 23 to March 27. Key Responsibilities: Deliver assessment and therapeutic services to students within caseload standards Adapt to working at multiple school sites as determined by caseload fluctuations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies Participate in meetings and professional development as required Qualifications & Experience: Valid SLP or SLPA certification appropriate for school settings Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments preferred Ability to manage varying caseloads and work flexibly across multiple locations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to student-centered care and evidence-based practices Location: Turlock, California, with variable site assignments based on caseload needs This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student success while working in a dynamic school district setting.
