Position Type: Professional Support Date Posted: 3/4/2026 Location: Client Service Center Status: Full-Time / Exempt Shift: Days Description: To oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable Department to ensure timely and accurate payments to District vendors. This includes supervising staff, working with district requisition clerks, managing processes, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments. Essential Functions: Manage the operations of the Accounts Payable Team, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant invoice processing, vendor payments and expense recording. Supervise, assist, train and evaluate AP staff including hiring and directing daily workflow. Monitor accounts, work with vendors to resolve discrepancies, and act as primary contact for payment inquiries. Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable account, manage 1099 processing and year-end closing. Complete and manage JP Morgan reconciliation for district. Assist with the implementation, training and communication of accounting policies and procedures. Prepare monthly reports for management. Participate in the preparation for the annual audit. Provide support and training for district requisition clerks. Assist in maintenance of Appropriation and Encumbrance Ledgers. Review and approve all district travel claims for compliance with district policy. Administer district fuel card and toll tag program including usage analysis. Manage Finance Office annual purchase orders. Respond in a timely manner to inquiries within the department and throughout the District regarding requisitions, purchase orders to expedite the work of the District. Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time. Job Requirements: This position requires a minimum of four years experience in accounts payable. Three years of proven experience supervising staff and managing processes. Knowledge of accounting principles. Bilingual is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required Salary Schedule: SPMS Hiring Range: $47,484 to $60,439 annually, dependent on experience, plus additional $9,600 annual compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
