Provide specialized therapeutic support as an Occupational Therapist within a dynamic K-12 school setting in Salinas, CA. This opportunity involves short-term, full-time contracts designed to address staffing needs during a district Occupational Therapist's maternity leave and other short-term coverage periods. The positions require on-site presence and service delivery across multiple school sites, fostering student development through targeted occupational therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across preschool, elementary, middle, and high school levels. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet educational and developmental goals. Serve multiple school locations as assigned-ranging from 2 to 4 sites-including preschool, elementary, K-8, middle, and high schools. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with district and state regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification. Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings preferred. Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a diverse student population from early childhood through high school. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Availability for on-site work and commitment to full-time hours throughout the contract duration. Assignment Details: Location: Salinas, CA. Duration: Short-term assignments ranging from 9 weeks to the end of the school year (with potential extension into the next school year). Start Dates: Late January start for maternity leave coverage and ASAP start for other full-time contracts. Worksites include multiple school sites serving various grade levels.
