Provide expert virtual care as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in a GLP-1 Weight Management Program. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive virtual patient evaluations via an approved telehealth platform, assessing medical history and eligibility for GLP-1 therapy. Prescribe GLP-1 medications and adjust treatment plans based on clinical judgment and patient response. Educate patients on medication use, dosing schedules, anticipated effects, and side effects to ensure adherence and safety. Document patient encounters accurately in compliance with HIPAA, telehealth regulations, and clinical protocols. Identify and escalate complex cases to clinical leadership while educating patients on emergency warning signs. Qualifications & Experience: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas in good standing. Board certification as FNP, AGNP, or a related specialty. DEA registration with prescribing authority. Ability to prescribe GLP-1 medications in Texas. Preferred: Telehealth experience, familiarity with obesity medicine or metabolic health, knowledge of GLP-1 protocols, and multistate licensure. Schedule: Full-time (40-50 hours per week) or part-time (25-30 hours per week) with flexible availability based on candidate preference. Start time at 8:30am CST.
