MRI Technologist - Hurricane, WV

An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role is based in Hurricane, WV, and involves working across multiple locations including a hospital and outpatient facility. Candidates must hold ARRT (MR) registration, with ARMRIT certification also acceptable. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine MRI exams including prostate and breast MRI. Safely scan patients with pacemakers, implants, and stimulators. Manage an average of 15-20 scans per scanner daily. Initiate IVs as part of patient preparation. Utilize EMR-EPIC and PACS-FUJI Synapse systems for imaging documentation and communication. Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum of one year MRI technologist experience preferred. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required. Proficient in operating GE, Siemens MRI equipment. Ability to handle rotating weekend shifts and call responsibilities. Strong patient care and communication skills. Comfortable working two shift options: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week. Rotating weekends and call duties. No self-scheduling available; fixed shift assignments.
