The RN will provide high-quality, rapid assessment and treatment to patients in critical or life-threatening situations while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Responsibilities Assess, triage, and prioritize incoming patients based on acuity and presenting symptoms. Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and emergency interventions. Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in status or emergencies. Collaborate with emergency physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families on procedures, diagnoses, and follow-up care. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Support patient flow, bed turnover, and coordination with ancillary departments. Qualifications Active RN license in the state of practice. Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Minimum 1-2 years of recent Emergency Room or critical care experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred.
