Paraeducator in Warren, MI

Support students with behavioral challenges as a paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment located in Warren, MI. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one or classroom support for students requiring additional behavioral and instructional assistance. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instructional support following behavior intervention plans. Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster positive academic engagement and ensure student safety. Assist students with behavioral challenges by implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and learning. Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with the educational team. Qualifications and Experience: At least one full school year of experience working in a school setting with students who have behavioral challenges and special needs. Demonstrated ability to provide support in both 1:1 and classroom environments. CPI Certification preferred. Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Minimum of 60 college credits, Associate degree or higher, Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.
