A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-5 students within an independent school district in Mesquite, Texas. This role supports the district's evaluation team by providing specialized speech and language services to young learners. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, primarily on-site with one day per week remote work dedicated to report writing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support strategies. Utilize district resources such as test kits, computers, and communication tools for assessments and documentation. Maintain accurate and timely reports while adhering to district policies. Qualifications: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required. Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred. Ability to work itinerantly across multiple campuses within the district. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation. Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally responsive speech-language services. Location and Schedule: Position based in Mesquite, Texas. Up to 30 hours per week.
