Physical Therapist in Carbondale, IL

Provide specialized physical therapy services in an outpatient behavioral health setting, working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. This role offers a flexible schedule to accommodate either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days, with no weekend requirements, supporting a balanced work-life routine. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive physical therapy treatments for patients with orthopedic conditions, stroke recovery, developmental delays, work-related injuries, pelvic health issues, vestibular disorders, and both acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including other physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. Evaluate patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to maximize recovery outcomes. Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with all clinical and regulatory requirements. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Valid and current Physical Therapy licensure. Experience or strong interest in treating a diverse patient population with a broad range of diagnoses. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. Flexibility in scheduling and strong organizational skills.
