A skilled mammography technologist is needed to provide expert imaging services with a focus on mammography. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, including floating duties at a specialized breast center and mobile imaging throughout the Bay Area. Location: Based in Hayward, CA, the role involves travel via a mobile mammography van, with pick-up and drop-off at a facility in Oakland. This position offers exposure to various work environments within the region. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Rotating weekend shifts: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday off) Every other weekend and one Saturday per month Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a mammography technologist Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) California State Mammography Licensure required Certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Responsibilities: Perform mammographic imaging and mobile mammography services across multiple Bay Area locations Provide high-quality imaging for patients, ensuring safety and comfort Participate in floating assignments at the Carol Ann Read Breast Center in Oakland Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control and safety standards This contract opportunity is ideal for mammography technologists seeking a dynamic role with varied responsibilities and a flexible schedule in a vibrant Northern California region.
