A K-12 school in Escondido, CA is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the current school year (CSY) under a contract agreement. This role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to students within an educational setting. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or healthcare environments Ability to provide teletherapy services when needed Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is an advantage Familiarity with regulations and best practices within schools Responsibilities Include: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students with speech and language challenges Implement therapy sessions in person or via teletherapy in compliance with educational and clinical standards Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities This position offers an opportunity to impact student communication abilities in a structured school environment on a contracted basis for the school year.
