Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy procedures, SOPs, and regulatory standards, including state and federal laws. Implement and oversee Quality Assurance programs, policies, and procedures to maintain premium service delivery. Review and authorize physician prescriptions for accuracy and legality. Manage inventory control, including medication preparation, stocking, labeling, and monitoring to avoid expiration or deterioration. Maintain hands-on leadership presence by supporting daily pharmacy operations and motivating the team to achieve productivity goals. Qualifications & Desired Experience: At least 5+ years of LTC pharmacy experience with a strong background in pharmacy operations and leadership roles. Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia with license in-hand to enable immediate pharmacy opening. Proficiency in Frameworks/DocuTrack systems and MS Office. Exceptional communication, organizational, and team-building skills. Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology. Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with flexibility. Location: Position located outside Roanoke, VA, with travel or relocation assistance negotiable. Working Schedule: Pharmacy operates 24/7 with multiple shifts (7:00 AM-3:00 PM and 3:00 PM-11:00 PM; third shift hours to be announced).
