An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager specializing in outpatient infusion to lead and oversee the OP Infusion Pharmacy at a cancer center in Fredericksburg, VA. Location: Fredericksburg, VA Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient infusion pharmacy. Provide staffing support alongside management duties for a team of 2-3 pharmacists and 3 technicians. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Oversee IV compounding and chemotherapy processes with precision and safety. Utilize hospital pharmacy information systems (Epic) and automation systems (Pyxis) effectively. Maintain smooth pharmacy operations during regular hours without on-call or weekend coverage. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pharmacy hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia. Demonstrated experience with IV compounding and chemotherapy. Familiarity with Epic pharmacy systems and Pyxis automation technology. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to manage staffing and workflow in a busy outpatient infusion setting. This position supports an acute care hospital with 380 staffed beds and an average daily census of 350 patients, including 44 infusion chairs for outpatient services.
