Job Description

CDL Class A Driver The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between ReWorld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, while ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated locations while adhering to scheduled appointments. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per DOT requirements. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including manifests, inspection reports, job sheets, expense reports, and timesheets. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.). Secure cargo prior to and during transit. Operate specialized equipment, including PTO-driven systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must be at least 21 years old (federal requirement for interstate travel). Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience. CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required. Ability to obtain HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Clean driving record. Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs. Knowledge and adherence to DOT regulations. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year) In addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $52,200.00 - $69,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
