Medical Surgical Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from the last 2 years Requirements: • Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock and no current placement allowed at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock. Additional Details: RNs Only: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility. Required Skills/Experience: - Chest tubes - Tubes - Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients - Trachs/Laryngectomies - Telemetry - Complex wounds - Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Float experience highly preferred. Shift & Scheduling: D/N Rotation Floating Requirements: - The MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders.
