The Packer is responsible for accurately packing stamped metal products to customer and company standards to ensure safe shipment and on-time delivery. This role is hands-on and focuses on quality, accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Essential Job Responsibilities Pack stamped parts according to work instructions, customer specifications, and internal standards. Label, bag, box, and palletize products accurately for shipment. Inspect parts visually for defects prior to packing and notify supervisor or quality personnel of issues. Maintain proper counts and verify quantities against packing slips or work orders. Keep packing materials stocked and organized at the workstation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Assist with basic inventory counts and documentation as needed. Operate pallet jacks or other basic material-handling equipment as trained. Support production and shipping needs as directed by the supervisor. Qualifications Previous packing, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to read basic work instructions and packing specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Basic communication skills verbal and written.
