We are proud to serve as the parent company of: Hanwha Renewables specializing in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) Chariot Energy providing retail electricity services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in deregulated markets POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a technically strong, results-driven Supply Analyst to support retail electricity pricing and supply management activities within a fast-growing, dynamic organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in deregulated retail power markets, preferably ERCOT, and brings a solid technical and analytical background with a strong interest in pricing, market fundamentals, and system development. As part of the Supply team supporting the growth of Chariot / Hanwha Energy USA, this role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing the analytical tools and systems used for retail pricing, product development, and supply decision-making. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, IT, and Executive leadership to ensure products are competitively priced, market-aligned, and operationally sound. This role offers broad exposure to retail power products, proprietary pricing systems, and wholesale market dynamics, with opportunities to influence new features, reporting capabilities, and process improvements. This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX (commutable distance required). RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and enhance retail pricing model inputs across multiple product structures. Support daily and forward retail price setting, ensuring accuracy and market alignment. Assist in marking and maintaining wholesale and retail price curves, including implied hourly scalars. Analyze ERCOT and PJM market fundamentals and wholesale price drivers to support pricing and supply decisions. Support the development of new retail products and pricing structures. Act as the business analyst for Supply-related systems and IT initiatives. Build, run, and maintain analytical tools, databases, and models supporting pricing and supply management. Develop and improve reporting and automation to enhance visibility into pricing and supply performance. Gain deep expertise in proprietary pricing and supply systems and contribute to new feature development. Partner closely with Sales to ensure products are well-structured and priced appropriately for customers. Work with Finance to explain supply-related drivers impacting retail margins (forward and settled). Support supply-related management presentations, contract execution, and project coordination. Interact regularly with internal stakeholders and Executive leadership to support growth initiatives. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Analytical & Technical Strength Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and market information. Energy Market Acumen Understanding of deregulated power markets and retail electricity pricing dynamics. Stakeholder Collaboration Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships. Clear Communication Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of work experience in Energy industry Experience in deregulated electricity markets; ERCOT and PJM experience strongly preferred. Experience pricing retail energy products (fixed, indexed, block, shaped products, etc.). Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to evaluate pricing models and derivative structures within real-world market conditions. High proficiency in SQL and strong Excel skills, including financial and pricing models. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS Exposure to FP&A concepts as they relate to retail margins and supply performance. Experience working with large datasets, automation, or pricing systems. Experience creating, maintaining, and debugging Python-based analytical tools. Experience with load forecasting, deal structuring, and product design. Experience with leading IT projects.
