Position Highlights This role offers a chance to: Join a fully veterinarian-owned specialty and emergency hospital, free from private equity or large corporate ownership. Lead the development of a brand-new Internal Medicine department and help shape its workflow, scheduling structure, technician training, and daily operations. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $240,000 to $300,000 , depending on experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Four weeks of paid vacation annually One week dedicated to continuing education with an annual stipend Coverage for professional licensing and association fees Pet insurance stipend Hospital & Facilities The hospital operates from a newly upgraded 15,000-square-foot facility designed with both functionality and comfort in mind. Clinical resources include advanced endoscopy equipment, CT imaging, fixed and portable ultrasound systems, and a fully equipped ICU with oxygen kennels, high-flow oxygen, and ventilator capability. The hospital also features a dedicated procedure suite and a comprehensive in-house laboratory with digital cytology. The layout provides ample space for hosting continuing education events and professional collaboration. Staff members also have access to a third-floor rooftop break area overlooking the Long Island Sound and Mamaroneck Harbor—an ideal spot for charting, relaxing between cases, or enjoying meals. The hospital design prioritizes natural light, comfort, and a welcoming environment. Location Situated in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York , the hospital is directly across from several well-known restaurants and within walking distance of the vibrant downtown area.
