Restaurant Manager – Roadhouse Bar & Restaurant Location: Luxury Resort | Austin, TX Area Salary Range: $60,100 – $73,600 A premier luxury resort in the Austin, Texas area is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our Roadhouse Bar & Restaurant. This is a department head–level leadership role for a hospitality professional who understands elevated service standards and has experience beyond casual chain concepts. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and brings creativity, operational expertise, and strong team leadership to the table. Position Overview As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all daily operations of the Roadhouse Bar & Restaurant while delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the elevated standards of a luxury resort environment. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, drive financial performance, and ensure every guest interaction exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, including dining room, bar/lounge, in-room dining, coffee service, and special events Lead, coach, and develop service teams to deliver warm, attentive, and polished hospitality Partner with Food & Beverage leadership and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences Drive guest satisfaction through service standards, training initiatives, and quality control Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost controls, labor management, and revenue optimization Plan and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and unique dining experiences Maintain compliance with health, safety, and operational standards Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years of hotel or upscale restaurant leadership experience Prior department head experience required Experience in a high-volume, elevated dining concept (non–casual chain background preferred) Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations, including wine, beer, and spirits Proven leadership ability with a track record of building and motivating successful teams Financial acumen with demonstrated ability to improve profitability Exceptional communication, organizational, and administrative skills Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and strong service orientation Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive salary ($60,100 – $73,600) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off Complimentary meals during shifts Tuition reimbursement Employee assistance programs Career growth and advancement opportunities within a luxury hospitality environment This is an opportunity to lead a signature dining outlet within a distinguished Austin-area resort, where excellence in service and guest satisfaction is the standard.
