Schedule Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse with experience in Trauma Level I settings. The ideal candidate will float between the GI unit and Center One Surgery Center, providing high-quality care and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management. Collaborate with surgical and multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in the Cerner charting system. Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 3 years of surgical nursing experience in a Level I Trauma environment. Current PA or compact nursing license required at time of submission. BSN degree required. Current certifications in BLS and either NBSTSA or NCCT.
