Maintenance Manager

Provide strong, hands? on leadership to a small group of maintenance personnel, fostering teamwork and efficiency. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain documentation, track maintenance activities, and support reporting needs. Implement and uphold cost? efficient maintenance practices that comply with all quality standards, company policies, and regulatory procedures. Plan and schedule shift workload by effectively allocating employees, equipment, and materials to meet production quality goals. Assign maintenance tasks and train employees on proper procedures to maintain safety, quality, and productivity. Oversee plant safety by monitoring working conditions and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. Ensure all personnel are fully trained and understand the processes, equipment, and procedures relevant to their roles. Maintain staff compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP guidelines. Promote strong communication within the maintenance team and across other departments to support smooth operations. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and USDA personnel to maintain regulatory compliance and product integrity. Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement efforts and improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot and work with a range of maintenance equipment, including electronics, motors, machinery, scales, and freezers. Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations and organizational goals.
