Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal

LHH is seeking a seasoned Defense Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of insurance defense / personal injury defense experience to support attorneys handling cases from inception through close. This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows the lifecycle of a defense file and can anticipate what comes next. This position offers strong collaboration, clear expectations, and predictable hours. You’ll be deeply embedded in the litigation process, including: Managing defense litigation files from intake through resolution Drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence Coordinating and managing discovery, including document collection, review, and production Preparing deposition materials, summaries, and trial binders Filing documents with state and local courts (including e‑filing) Tracking deadlines, hearings, and court calendars to ensure compliance Communicating with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel Assisting attorneys with case strategy by keeping files organized, proactive, and trial‑ready Maintaining accurate timekeeping and case documentation This is a role for a paralegal who knows defense litigation cold and takes pride in running a clean, organized, defensible file.
