Employment Litigation Defense Secretary Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Fully Onsite) Compensation: $85,000 – $90,000 Based on Experience Position Type: Direct Hire Benefits: Full Benefits Package + 401(k) A well-established law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Defense Secretary to join their team. This is a fully onsite position supporting 2–3 attorneys in a fast-paced employment defense practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to 2–3 employment litigation attorneys Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence State and Federal court e-filing (including calendaring deadlines) Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling Coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical) Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel Qualifications: 5+ years of employment litigation defense experience preferred Strong knowledge of California State and Federal court procedures and e-filing systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Professional communication skills and strong work ethic What We Offer: Competitive salary ($85K–$90K DOE) Direct hire opportunity Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) retirement plan Stable, team-oriented work environment If you are a detail-oriented litigation secretary with strong employment defense experience and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply.
