UI/UX / Web Designer

Seeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.Responsibilities 1. Responsible for human factors engineering, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing for Web and client-based applications, as well as metrics setting and monitoring for assessing the usability of the Web application. 2. Responsible for improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers. 3. Responsible for performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting. 4. Responsible for requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues - including development of page/site prototypes. 5. Responsible for user-centered design methodology, user scenarios, usability testing, storyboarding, paper, and interactive prototypes. 6. Responsible for integrating design into program rules and system architecture, and creating innovative approaches to improving the end-user experience. 7. Responsible for graphic applications, HTML development tools, and other applicable authoring tools, Web production, and front-end development using programming and scripting languages. 8. Responsible for platform/browser compatibility and basic usability issues. Mandatory QualificationsA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, or other related field. Or equivalentwork experience. A minimum of 3 years of combined IT and graphic design experience. Able to understand HTML and have a strongworking knowledge of Web generators and photographic libraries. Possesses a portfolio of websites or solutions. Experience in human factors engineering, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing for Web and client-basedapplications, as well as metrics setting and monitoring for assessing the usability of the Web application. Experience improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers,Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers. Experience performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting.Experience in requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues - including development of page/siteprototypes.
