Position Summary The Production Manager is responsible for the coordination, execution, and oversight of the production elements within the haunted house attraction. Working in conjunction with the Show Director, Technical Director, and Haunt Operations Manager, this role focuses on the logistical and administrative aspects of production to ensure a cohesive and efficient experience. The Production Manager ensures that all production aspects align with the overall vision and operational standards while maintaining the creative integrity of the attraction. This position must have a flexible schedule, including availability for nights and weekends, to accommodate the unique demands of our event-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Production Coordination: Facilitate communication between the Show Director, Technical Director, and Haunt Operations Manager to synchronize production efforts. Manage and maintain the Haunt staff scheduling program, including employee information, work dates, and re-hire notes. Respond to employee messages and manage internal communications. Talent and Crew Management: Coordinate auditions and assist in casting decisions. Oversee the documentation process for new hires, including forms and photos. Support the training, orientation, and placement of actors and production staff. Logistics and Procurement: Collaborate with the Technical Director and Lead Builder on material and equipment needs for set builds and redesigns. Assist the Haunt Operations Manager with the procurement and management of merchandise, inventory, and vendor relationships. Event and Off-Season Activities: Plan and execute offsite promotional events, coordinating with marketing the logistics and staffing. Manage the off-season schedule, including training, team-building events, and community outreach. Marketing and Communications: Work with the marketing team to coordinate social media strategy and content. Oversee the distribution of marketing materials in collaboration with the Show Director and marketing staff. Production Support: Assist with prop and decor creation, haunt setup, and detailed aesthetic work. Provide flexible support for various tasks as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the attraction. Quality and Compliance: Work with the Show Director and other managers to ensure the attraction adheres to safety and regulatory standards. Help maintain a high standard of show quality throughout the live operation of the attraction. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Experience in production management within a themed entertainment or live event setting.Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple departments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Familiarity with project management software, scheduling tools, and social media platforms.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage unexpected challenges.A passion for themed entertainment and a dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience.Ability to work alone and in large crowd settings.Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of the seasonal attraction.
