Criminal Background Check and Drug Test are Required Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Location: 100 West Anderson Street, Orlando, FL, 32801 Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (W2 Only) Position Description: Responsible for developing and executing a formal test strategy and test plan to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Responsible for the overall quality of applications, services and systems throughout the IT development life cycle. Create Test Case based on project requirements and Test Scenarios Run Test Cases in HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Load Runner and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for projects where applicable Analyze requirements and develop testing documentation (i.e. traceability matrix, test plans, test scenarios, test cases and automated test scripts) Analyze technical documentation to develop testing requirements and methods Develop, maintain, and execute test cases; both manual and automated test scripts Design, administer, and/or execute functional, regression, integration and performance, and load testing Configure testing platforms and maintains data in testing environments Establish quality metrics and develops methods for tracking testing progress and entry/exit criteria Conduct audits and review to monitor overall adherence to established standards and processes Document acceptance criteria to support client acceptance Participate in defect reviews and supports triage of defects and recommend solutions where possible Create Daily Status reports and Daily Defect Reports for management consumption Attend meetings related to projects Perform other duties as assigned Skills Required: Working knowledge of all, but not limited to the following: Testing (i.e. Plan, Strategy, Scenarios, and Case Scenario) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) related documentation for Waterfall and Agile methodology Software Applications (i.e. Software Testing Tools (i.e. ALM), Oracle Utilities Suite: Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Web and wire frames, Interactive voice response (IVR), Structured Query Language (SQL) Business and Functional Requirements Document Familiarity with all, but not limited to the following: Software Applications (i.e. PSERM, Oracle Utilities Suite: Meter Data Management [MDM], AutoCAD, Outage Management System [OMS]) Related industry, organizational and departmental policies, practices, and procedures; legal guidelines, ordinances, and laws Demonstrate competencies in software quality assurance Understand and apply governmental accounting practices in maintenance of financial records Communicate effectively, both verbal and written Make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and standard office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier, etc.) Experience Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with computer systems administration including duties related to software quality assurance Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited college or university Additional Information: This is a temp to hire position, with the expectation that they will hire on permanently in October 2025 Search should be local to Central Florida, with residence in a commutable area to Downtown Orlando Permanent position offers hybrid work Skills: quality assurance,Software Testing,HP Application Lifecycle Management,ALM,LoadRunner,Test Cases
