Security, Infrastructure, and Environmental Specialist (SIE) The Security, Infrastructure, and Environmental (SIE) Specialist provides essential technical and operational support for our facility's physical assets. Reporting directly to the SIE Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of security protocols, monitoring on-site construction activities, and ensuring environmental compliance. This is a hands-on role that balances administrative record-keeping with active, on-site maintenance and inspection. Department: Consolidation Center/Operations Reports to: SIE Assistant Manager Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 6:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-4:00PM, or 8:00AM-5:00PM) (Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements) Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.) Responsibilities for a SIE Specialist: Infrastructure & Facility Maintenance Project Support: Assist the Assistant Manager in coordinating with external contractors; walk the site to ensure construction is proceeding according to plan. Hands-on Maintenance: Tackle "handyman" tasks including minor repairs, hardware adjustments, and general troubleshooting to reduce reliance on outside vendors. Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify infrastructure wear and tear or safety hazards. Communication: Ability to provide clear, concise status updates to the Assistant Manager and interact professionally with contractors. Security Operations System Monitoring: Maintain and troubleshoot access control systems and CCTV hardware. Protocol Execution: Ensure all site visitors and staff adhere to established security policies. Incident Reporting: Provide detailed reports on any security breaches or equipment failures to the Assistant Manager. Environmental Compliance Waste & Safety: Monitor on-site waste disposal and chemical storage to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Documentation: Maintain precise logs and records for environmental audits and safety inspections. Regulatory Awareness: Basic understanding of environmental health and safety (EHS) standards or building codes. Resource Management: Identify opportunities for energy or water savings within the facility. Qualifications for a SIE Specialist:High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health, or Safety related field preferred. At least 1 year of combined experience in environmental compliance, security management, contractor/vendor management, or construction site supervision/coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to create, interpret, and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel. Prior experience in business administration, operational planning, project management, etc. is desired. OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, HAZMAT, or related certification is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the SIE Specialist is $59,000-$62,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
