Clinic RN LPN Columbus General Surgery

40 hours per week; 5 days per week. As a valued member of the care team, this position works closely with surgeons and GI specialists to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient triage and assessment; assisting with in-office minor procedures; and educating patients and families on treatment plans, as well as pre-operative and post-operative care instructions. The role also supports referral management, scheduling, and insurance pre-certifications for surgeries, testing, and procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, a positive attitude, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate care across departments and effectively utilize available resources through clear verbal and nonverbal communication. A current Nebraska RN or LPN license and CPR certification are required. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting or specialty nursing is preferred.
