Job Title: CDL Driver / Warehouse Specialist Location: Pooler, GA (Local Deliveries) Schedule: Monday - Friday (First Shift) Job Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver/Warehouse Specialist to join our operations team in Pooler. This is a high-impact, hybrid position designed for professionals who enjoy a mix of local driving and active warehouse work. You will spend your day split between making local job-site deliveries and assisting with critical inventory and warehouse functions. Key Responsibilities: Local Driving: Safely operate CDL vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver building materials and supplies to residential and commercial sites throughout the regional area. Equipment Operation: Use warehouse forklifts and truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) to load your vehicle and unload heavy materials at delivery locations. Warehouse Support: Assist with receiving incoming freight, pulling customer orders, and tagging merchandise to ensure total inventory accuracy. Professional Service: Act as a key point of contact on-site, providing professional customer service and ensuring all delivery paperwork is signed and accurate. Compliance & Maintenance: Maintain precise delivery logs and vehicle inspection checklists while strictly following all DOT regulations and safety protocols. Qualifications: License: Valid CDL Class A or B (Required). Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional CDL driving experience. Physical Ability: Must be capable of frequently lifting or moving up to 100 lbs in varying weather conditions. Driving Record: Clean MVR with no more than 3 violations in the past 3 years. Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety and a team-oriented attitude. salary: $40,000 - $49,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Driving & Delivery Responsibilities Local Distribution: Safely operate CDL fleet vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver building products like windows and vinyl siding to residential and commercial job sites. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and load securement protocols. Fleet Maintenance: Maintain accurate delivery logs and checklists, and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections on vehicles. Customer Service: Represent the company on-site, providing professional face-to-face service and collecting signatures for delivered goods. Warehouse & Forklift Responsibilities Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse forklifts and truck-mounted forklifts (such as a Moffett) to load and unload freight. Order Fulfillment: Pull and pre-stage customer orders accurately, ensuring all merchandise is properly racked and tagged. Inventory Management: Assist with receiving incoming materials, identifying discrepancies, and conducting cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Facility Upkeep: Assist in day-to-day warehouse functions, including cleaning and organizing work areas to maintain a safe environment. Physical Requirements Heavy Lifting: Must be capable of frequently lifting or moving up to 100 lbs. High Activity: Expect to spend a significant portion of the shift standing, walking, and moving in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled.
