Senior Installation Projection Engineer - Portage

Position Overview: The Senior Installation Project Engineer executes all project assignments, individually or as part of a project team within the Installation Group. Leads the Installation Design team consisting of Installation Project Engineers and Installation Design Engineers. Assignments may include being involved in multiple projects simultaneously. The design emphasis includes power system design, network design, control/device design all with an installation engineering focus for the installation of IMS equipment (Drives, RIO, Operator Stations and Desks, and PLC and/or Networking Cabinets, etc). Pay: $85,000.00 - 105,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday, Other Travel Requirement: 25% - 45% Position Overview: The Installation Project Engineer executes all project assignments, individually or as part of a project team within the Installation Group. Primary Duties: Installation design of Power and Drive system applications, both AC and DC power. Block Diagram creation for all Power, Networking, and Device portions of a project. General Arrangement creation or modification of existing equipment laying in new equipment locations with conduit/tray routing. Cable and Conduit Schedule creation. Can read and understand electrical schematics (existing and new), civil drawings, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic drawings. Checks all work being completed by other Installation Project Engineers and Installation Design Engineers prior to being sent for Client review (Issue for Approval, Issue for Bid, Issue for Construction, and As Built). On site field investigations for all Installation Engineering worked on for any specific project worked on On site commissioning of all Installation Engineering completed for any specific project worked on Requirements: Bachelor's Engineering or equivalent industrial experience Travel requirements are 25% - 45% of the time NEC Code use and intepretation for all Installation Engineering design work.
