May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Construction laborers who primarily assist a particular craft worker are classified under "Helpers, Construction Trades" (47-3010). Excludes "Hazardous Materials Removal Workers" (47-4041) for DAILY TRAVEL TO VARIOUS JOB SITES LOCATED IN ALLEN, CHASE, COFFEY, GREENWOOD, MORRIS ,ANDERSON, WILSON NEOSHO AND WOODSON COUNTIES IN KS . ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS, SOME OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 HOUR WORKDAY. OPTIONAL EMPLOYER OWNED HOUSING $115.00 PER WEEK/ $230.00 PER PAY PERIOD. HEALTH , DENTAL, VISION , LIFE, DISABILITY INSURANCE (DEDUCTION DEPENDS ON PLAN SELECTED). PAID HOLIDAYS. Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in SCRANTON, KS , Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from SCRANTON, KS No exp/edu. req'd. 40hr/wk. Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm, $21.70 hr OT $32.55/hr , Single workweek computation, Pd biweekly by check. All payroll deductions taken, required by law. Merit based raises available at employer discretion. Must be eligible within the USA and available entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extent necessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employmentperiod. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per /day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
