Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Assist with planning, preparing, and setting up products for packing. Complete the daily Lift Truck Operator's Inspection Report. Perform daily visual inspections of cranes, straps, and related lifting equipment. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and orderly work area both inside and outside the plant. Properly dispose of wood, trash, and cardboard in designated locations. Operate computerized weigh scales. Operate handheld scanners as required. Work effectively with limited supervision. Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels. Follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Utilize all required safety equipment, adhere to break schedules, and keep work areas tidy. Demonstrate cooperative teamwork and the ability to work independently. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all requirements of the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment. Ability to comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Must meet the standards of, and adhere to, the company's Fitness for Duty Policy (HRF-030) after hire.
