Job Description Project finance plans, controls, and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System. Project finance is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance. Our Finance team in Greenlawn, NY is currently seeking a Principal Program Control Analyst to join their ranks. This role will specifically support Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) programs, which are part of the Tactical Systems Product Line in the C4ISR Business Area. This role offers experience in a rapidly growing area of the business with dynamic programs. We are looking for motivated individuals excited by the prospect to grow their Financial Analyst acumen. This role will be conducted in a hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Greenlawn (450 Pulaski Rd), and remotely from an alternate work space. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either currently reside within a comfortable daily commute of Greenlawn, NY, or are willing to relocate at their own expense. Required Skills and EducationBachelor's degree and 4+ years of work experience or equivalent experience; alternatively, a master's degree and 2+ years of work experience Recent experience in the Defense Industry Prior Program Controls experience working with various contract types Cobra or comparable Earned Value Management System Working knowledge of Earned Value Management principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation Experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner Strong interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment Understanding of program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash and collections Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers Preferred Skills and EducationOracle ERP Hyperion General Ledger Accounting Experience Proposal/Pricing experience (ProPricer) Skilled in implementing effective processes and controls
