Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle Set-Up/Operator - 1st Shift | $23/hrLocation: Elyria, OH Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday (Overtime offered on Fridays) We are hiring an Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle Set-Up/Operator for a 1st shift role in Elyria, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining machinery, interpreting engineering documentation, ensuring quality control, and assisting operators as needed. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of machine tools. What You'll Do: Set up machinery according to engineering documentation, including cams, gears, and tooling Maintain tooling and perform preventative maintenance on machines Read and interpret blueprints and quality documents to ensure precise component production Produce high-quality components while adhering to safety standards Restock machinery with raw materials Assist machine operators as needed Complete necessary documentation for production processes What We're Looking For: At least 2 years of experience or equivalent in multi-spindle or Acme Gridley machine operation Ability to read part prints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, indicators, and thread gauges Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine set-ups Must have your own tools High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Ability to lift light materials and work with small parts Excellent vision, either uncorrected or corrected Why Work with Hire Sync: At Hire Sync, we connect skilled professionals with employers who value precision, quality, and safety.
