Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and professional Armed Access Control Security Officer to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for securing access points to the facility, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter and exit the premises. This position requires an individual with previous armed security experience, preferably in an access control setting, as well as the ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and safety at all times. Key Responsibilities: Access Control: Monitor and control access points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed on the premises. Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the facility, ensuring security protocols are followed at all times. Emergency Response: Respond quickly to any incidents or alarms and take appropriate action according to established protocols. Equipment Handling: Be responsible for the proper handling and use of your own armed service equipment. Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed reports of any security-related incidents or irregularities. Professionalism: Represent the company by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring safety and security protocols are upheld. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience, with preference for experience in access control settings. Active TX Level 3 Armed Security Guard License. Your own armed service equipment (e.g., firearm). Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to execute them under pressure. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and follow through with assigned responsibilities. Must be reliable and punctual, adhering to the established schedule. This job reports to Teresa Collins. This is a Full-Time position 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm. Relocation is not required and travel is not required.
