About the Role As the AP / Payroll Clerk you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and accounts payable, while supporting month-end close and daily cash operations. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, maintains strong vendor and employee relationships, and contributes to an efficient, well-controlled accounting environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining trust across the organization by ensuring employees are paid accurately, vendors are paid on time, and financial records are complete and reliable. What You Will Be Doing Process and verify payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time Maintain payroll records including earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and benefit changes Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries to maintain trust and transparency Review, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately Prepare and process vendor payments including checks, ACH, and wires in accordance with payment terms Reconcile the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure vendors are paid within agreed terms Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and documentation Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit readiness Record customer payments and complete bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by accuracy, timeliness, organization, and trust. 100% on-time payroll processing Zero payroll errors All payroll reconciliations completed accurately and on schedule Employees receive timely and professional responses to questions Vendors are paid accurately and within agreed terms Month-End close tasks completed on schedule All cash receipts recorded weekly and accurately Bank reconciliations completed monthly with no lingering reconciling items Reliable, consistent, and trusted by accounting leadership Viewed internally as dependable and detail-oriented Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of accounts payable and/or payroll experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information Our Company Values We Hope You Showcase See It, Solve It, Get It Done Build, Adapt, Win Unwavering Customer Obsession What Kenect Offers!
