Recruiter Location: Houston, TX (onsite 3x per week) Length: 6 month contract We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Talent Sourcing Advisor within our Talent Acquisition group based in Houston, TX. The Talent Sourcing Advisor is a strategic partner in the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent for current and future organizational needs. This role leverages advanced sourcing tools, data-driven strategies, and AI-powered platforms to build robust talent pipelines, enhance candidate experience, and support workforce planning. The Advisor collaborates closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to align sourcing efforts with evolving business priorities and market trends. Essential Job Duties: Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development oProactively source candidates using multi-channel strategies (social media, professional networks, AI tools, and talent communities) oBuild and maintain databases of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles, emphasizing long-term talent pools for current and future openings oConduct labor market research and supply-demand analysis to inform sourcing strategies Technology & Data Utilization oLeverage AI and automation to optimize sourcing workflows, candidate matching, and pipeline health oTrack and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency oUtilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM, and sourcing platforms for candidate management Candidate Engagement & Experience oDevelop personalized outreach campaigns to attract and engage top talent oEnsure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding oPromote employer brand and communicate organizational values in all candidate interactions oEfficiently manage the employee referral process, from intake and interviews to tracking and submitting qualified candidates to the recruiting team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management oPartner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR to define ideal candidate profiles and sourcing priorities oShare market insights and candidate feedback to inform hiring decisions oSupport diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through targeted sourcing efforts Continuous Improvement & Best Practices oStay current with sourcing trends, tools, and compliance requirements oParticipate in regular strategy sessions to refine sourcing approaches based on workforce analytics and feedback oContribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing across the Talent Acquisition function Required Skills & Competencies: Advanced research and Boolean search skills Proactive and teamwork-oriented as well as exceptional market and business acumen Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building abilities Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making Creativity and adaptability in sourcing strategies Familiarity with AI sourcing tools, ATS/CRM, and social media platforms Commitment to ethical sourcing, candidate privacy, and DEI principles Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition Certifications in sourcing or recruitment (e.g., AIRS, SHRM, LinkedIn Recruiter) are a plus Experience in global or multi-site sourcing environments is desirable Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
