Summary: The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure timely completion and quality standards. Communicate project objectives, requirements, and expectations to all stakeholders, and facilitate regular project meetings and updates. Manage project budgets and financial forecasts, track expenses, and approve project expenditures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the construction process. Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety protocols, and adherence to project specifications. Resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and efficient manner, and escalate as needed to senior management. Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to clients and senior leadership. Your Experiences, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required). 5+ years of proven experience as a construction manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget within the Semiconductor industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications. Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and project documentation. Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Safety: Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements. Work Environment: Must be able to function well in an office environment. Must also be able to work in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. Must also be able to perform in a laboratory environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position. Must be able to travel to the Pentagon Technologies Facilities in the continental US as required. Must be able to travel to Vendor and Customer facilities within the continental US as required. Physical Demands: Must pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.
