Serve as a pivotal team member within a supportive unit, including a provider (MD/DO), RN, LVN, and a Clerk. Participate in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance projects and other administrative duties as assigned. Engage in VA's national, VISN, and local quality and process improvement initiatives. Provide education and mentorship to medical students, residents, and other trainees through an affiliation with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Experience in Women's Health is highly valued. Qualifications: MD or equivalent Board Certified/Eligible Must be a US Citizen. Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license Preferred: Teaching experience for clinics that are part of academic training programs Academic and Research Opportunities: Opportunities exist for an academic appointment at UCLA as a clinician-educator to teach medical students, internal medicine residents and other trainees.
